I enjoyed London a lot, part of it (I hate to be a wuss and say it) was not having to keep butchering the French language. The s.o. is applying to an internship in Cambridge, so we'll see is we can spend some more time there in the near future. It depends on my schedule too and all that. Today I had an animated chat with a young man, who very kindly offered me a drink out of his empty coffee cup. He also asked me if I knew any lawyers, because he needed one.

It certainly beats a random old dude yelling at me that I'm "a fucking dyke!!!!" whenever he sees me. This guy was nice...
